Revelation Wellness
A friend shared a Revelation Wellness podcast with me in the summer of 2022, and it literally changed my life—no exaggeration.
If you’ve ever struggled with anything related to health, I really encourage you to check out their resources. They address things like the pendulum swing between body obsession and neglect, eating disorders and disordered eating, emotions, movement, mindset, stress, isolation, and the lies that swirl around in our minds.
Rev Well TV offers free video workouts—strength, cardio, stretching, dance, kickboxing, and more. They also have “Reving the Word” audio workouts you can use while walking, running, or biking, blending movement with Scripture and music.
Their courses combine videos, devotionals, movement, and reflection. A few I’ve done are 21 Day Sugar Fast, Focus 40, Food Is Not the Boss of Me, Get Strong, and Project Stress Relief. They also offer Instructor Training and Live Well Health Coach Training and so much more. This is the group that I hiked the Grand Canyon with in 2023.
Their podcasts include Biblical teaching around health, guided workouts, and “Be Still and Be Loved” episodes that help activate the parasympathetic nervous system through breathwork and truth-filled listening.

Silk and Sonder
I’ve been using Silk and Sonder for a full year now, and it has been genuinely life-transforming. If you’re looking for a way to pursue your goals and finally get “unstuck,” I highly encourage you to check it out. Silk and Sonder has exceeded every expectation I had.
It’s a monthly subscription of beautifully designed booklets that you can customize to support your dreams and goals. I use mine daily, and it has become an essential part of my routine—both for reflection and for accountability. If you’re seeking to grow in your mindset or strengthen your personal development habits, visiting their website is absolutely worth your time.
Their brand pillars—Curiosity, Creativity, Clarity, Connection, and Compassion—are qualities anyone can benefit from. After one year of consistent and intentional use, I can honestly say I’ve grown in each of these areas.
I truly believe subscribing was one of the most influential decisions I made at the end of 2024. It kept my New Year’s resolutions and goals from fading away by January 15th. Instead, it helped keep my vision and values alive throughout the year, especially during challenging moments. Through beauty and creativity, Silk and Sonder inspired me to purposefully design the life I wanted—every single month.

Free Tools and guides from me to you
We are told to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. We can also proactively take every emotion captive bringing it under God’s authority. This document walks you through some of the practicalities of these practices.
Books that have been life changing for me
YOU CAN LET GO by Alexandra Hoover. This book is both practical and theological. I couldn’t put it down. She writes in a way that challenged me to work through things that were holding me back. I’d definitely recommend this book.
Read more: ResourcesTHE WELLNESS REVELATION by Alisa Keeton. This book calls you higher. We can walk in wellness with God in ways that far exceed counting macros or getting up the motivation to work out. It will point you to the Lord Jesus Christ who loves you more than you could ever imagine. His love makes a world of difference in how we see God, ourselves, and others. His love is the foundation for living truly well. The book covers health, nutrition, movement, motivation, making healthy choices, and so many other things related to living well. As people of the twenty-first century, we tend to ride the pendulum between obsessing over our bodies or neglect in taking care of our bodies. Alisa shows us that there is a better way to take care of our bodies and use them as a vessel of God’s love.
Read more: ResourcesTHE BODY REVELATION by Alisa Keeton. This book helped me work through emotional health especially how emotional health relates to my physical health. There is such practical theological truth combined with scientific knowledge related to stress, the brain and body connection, effects of trauma, and so much more. One of my key take aways from this book related to working through pain and bringing it to the Lord for healing. We are whole people and this work addresses the interconnectedness of our body, mind and soul.
Read more: ResourcesWHAT COMES NEXT by Jess Connolly There is life beyond hard times, and this book is a bridge looking to the future when it naturally is easier to stay stuck. I love that this book is in devotional format with a prayer and journaling/reflecting questions each day. If life is harder than you’d choose, and it’s hard to see your next steps, this would be a beneficial read.
Read more: ResourcesTHE HARD GOOD by Lisa Whittle. Can’t say enough good things to say about this book. Life-changing!!! So good. I marked my copy up so much, I know I couldn’t or wouldn’t loan my copy out. Such a great read. Some of the chapter titles are as follows: Accepting Something You Wish Were Something Different, Cheering for Someone When They Get What You Want, Showing Up When You Want to Shut Down, Doing What God What’s Even When it Disappoints Others, Finding Joy in the Waiting, Facing Tough Conversations and Uncomfortable Truths, Opening Your Heart When it’s Been Hurt, Saying I’m Sorry First, and Welcoming Change. It’s a book that I’ve read several times and will read again!
